    My name is Gary and I suffered from chronic insomnia. It started after I worked a 12 hour night shift, from 7 pm until 7 am in a health care facility. I’d never worked at night before and had never had sleeping problems. But that shift change totally screwed up my Circadian rhythms and after working the night shift for five years, I went back to the day shift.
