How soon do anxiety pills start working?
I took an anxiety pill, but it wasn’t prescribed to me. I took it about 10 minutes ago, is it supposed to already be working? Or am i just imagining its helping?

First off, you should not take an anxiety pill which is supposed to be prescribed, unprescribed. That is dangerous and can harm you if taken wrongly.
Please go see a qualified doctor or psychologist to get a prescription if he/ she sees fit.
However, generally the effects normally can be felt within a 2 hours to a week, it definately is not instant. And due to the nature of the medicine, the effects will not be obvious, although it will help gradually.
You might want to try some relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, or consult your parents or trusted friends.
